Oury Jalloh ist am 07.01.2005 in einer Gewahrsamszelle in der Dessauer Polizeistation verbrannt.

Seit 15 Jahren kämpft die Initiative „In Gedenken an Oury Jalloh“ mit Fakten und Beweisen dafür, dass die offizielle Aussage von Polizei, Justiz und Politik, nach der sich Oury Jalloh an Händen und Füßen fixiert, selbst angezündet haben soll, endlich als das entlarvt wird, was wir schon lange wissen - eine rassistische Praxis von staatlichen Behörden. Der Mord an Oury Jalloh steht dabei beispielhaft für so viele Fälle von rassistischer Polizeigewalt, die nicht an die Öffentlichkeit kommen, sowie auch für bekannt gewordene Fälle, wie z.B. Amad Ahmad, der am 29. September nach einem Brand in seiner Zelle in der Justizvollzugsanstalt Kleve verstarb.

Erst vor zwei Monaten entschied das Oberlandesgericht Naumburg den Fall Oury Jalloh einzustellen und das obwohl Ergebnisse eines neuen fachradiologischen Gutachten vom 18.10.2019 zum Tod von Oury Jalloh veröffentlicht worden sind. Nach diesem Gutachten konnten verschiedene schwerwiegende Verletzungen an Oury Jallohs Körper festgestellt werden: ein Rippenbruch, Brüche des Nasenbeins und der Nasenscheidewand und Brüche des vorderen Schädeldachs. Gegen dieses Urteil des Oberlandesgerichts (OLG) Naumburg hat die Anwältin des Bruders von Oury Jalloh am 25.11.2019 fristgerecht Beschwerde beim Bundesverfassungsgericht eingelegt.

Ein weiteres Mal bedeutet das nun, dass wir, die Zivilgesellschaft massiven Druck aufbauen müssen und das solange, bis die Todesursache vollständig aufgeklärt und die Verantwortlichen dafür zur Verantwortung gezogen werden.

Polizei,Justiz und Politik verweigern die Aufklärung und erklären offiziell, dass Oury Jalloh sich selbst angezündet habe!

Oury Jalloh was burned on 07.01.2005 in a detention cell in the Dessau police station.
For 15 years the initiative "In Remembrance of Oury Jalloh" has been fighting with facts and evidence that the official statement of police, justice and politics, according to which Oury Jalloh fixes himself on his hands and feet, was finally exposed as what we have known for a long time - a racist practice of state authorities. The murder of Oury Jalloh is an example of so many cases of racist police violence that are not made public, as well as of cases that have come to light, such as Amad Ahmad, who died on 29 September after a fire in his cell at Kleve Prison.

Only two months ago, the Naumburg Higher Regional Court decided to close the Oury Jalloh case, despite the publication of the results of a new expert radiological report on the death of Oury Jalloh on 18 October 2019. According to this report, various serious injuries to Oury Jalloh's body were found: a fractured rib, fractures of the nasal bone and septum and fractures of the anterior skull. On 25 November 2019, the lawyer of Oury Jalloh's brother filed an appeal with the Federal Constitutional Court against this ruling of the Naumburg Higher Regional Court (OLG) in due time.

Once again this means that we, the civil society, must build up massive pressure until the causes of death are fully clarified and those responsible are held accountable.
