Feminist Weekender – Was ist das?
Ein virtuelles Mini-Festival, das auf knappen Raum gepackt einiges bietet, um dich mit Infos und Empowerment durch das Wochenende zu bringen. Mit unseren drei Schwerpunkten „Gewalt im Geschlechterverhältnis“, „Body Empowerment“ und „Technik Skillsharing“ wollen wir eine Möglichkeit bieten, euch inhaltlich und praktisch mit spannenden Themen auseinanderzusetzen.
Gewalt im Geschlechterverhältnis

Gewalt hat viele von uns bereits direkt oder im Umfeld betroffen. Wir wollen verschiedene Perspektiven zum Erkennen und Umgang beleuchten, zum einen aus juristischer Sicht und zum anderen durch Konzepte der Gemeinschaftsverantwortung.

Body Empowerment

Körper von Frauen, Lesben, Inter, Nicht-Binären und Trans und insbesondere Black Indigenous People of Color sind immer noch marginalisiert. Wir zeigen verschiedene Personen und ihre individuellen Wege dies aufzubrechen in filmischer Form.

Technik Skillsharing

Besonders technische Skills sind überwiegend cis-männlich konnotiert. Deshalb sind Aufgabenverteilungen, auch in vermeintlich machtkritischen Räumen, oft von vornherein festgelegt. Wir versuchen dies aufzubrechen und haben Workshops/Inputs im Angebot, bei denen ihr Skills lernen und euch aneignen könnt.

Feminist Weekender – Warum?
Unser ursprünglicher Plan für dieses Jahr war es, ein kleines Festival/Get-together auf die Beine zu stellen, das den inhaltlichen Bereich mit einer Party verknüpft. Außerdem wollten wir die Gelegenheit nutzen, uns mit anderen FLINT*s zu vernetzen, um gemeinsam ein Konzept für ein queer-feministisches Festival in 2021 zu entwerfen. Leider hat die Pandemie uns da einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Ganz wollen wir uns von der Idee aber nicht verabschieden, deshalb lassen wir unser Vorhaben in gekürzter Form online stattfinden.
Feministische Kollektiv Köln – Wer ist das?
Als Gruppe von Frauen und Lesben haben wir uns 2015 zusammengefunden, um feministische Partys zu veranstalten und die patriarchale Rollenstruktur in ihrer Organisation zu hinterfragen und aufzubrechen. Durch Skillsharing wollen wir uns cis-männlich dominierte Aufgabenbereiche aneignen und uns darin ausprobieren. Seit letztem Jahr orientieren wir uns immer mehr an der Vermittlung feministischer Inhalte durch die Veranstaltung von Workshops und Vorträgen.

Wir weisen darauf hin, dass Geschlecht gesellschaftlich konstruiert ist.

Feminist Weekender – What it is about?

The Feminist Weekender is a virtual mini festival, which provides information and empowerment for your weekend. „Genderbased Violence“, „Body Empowerment“ and „Technical Skillsharing“ are the three different areas we want to focus on during these days. We would like the Feminist Weekender to be an opportunity for you to get in touch with exciting topics in both a theoretical and also practical way.

Gender-based Violence
Many of us were personally affected and experienced violence themselves or people within our social environment experienced were affected by it. We want to point out different perspectives on how to recognize and become aware of gender-based violence and stand up against it. We will talk about the legal approach and about concepts of community accountability.

Body empowerment
Bodies of women, lesbian, inter, non-binary and trans and in particular Black Indigineous People of Color are still marginalised. We will introduce you to different people and their individual, personal stories and ways on how to break up with marginalisation in a cinematic form.

Technical skill sharing
Especially technical skills and knowledge are usually connected to cis-males primarily. Therefore also in supposedly power critical spaces, the roles are already fixed beforehand. We want to break up this role distribution and offer workshops for you to learn, improve and acquire technical skills.

Feminist Weekender – Why?
Originally our plan for this year was to organize a small festival, which connects theoretical inputs with practical step of party and event organization. Besides we wanted to use the opportunity to connect and network with other FLINT*s, to design a concept for a queer feminist festival organised only by FLINT*s in 2021. Unfortunately the pandemic has crossed our plans. But we did not want to say goodbye completely to our idea. Therefore we decided to realize our vision in a shortened online version.

Feminist collective Cologne – Who is that?
As a group out of women and lesbian we got together in 2015 to organize feminist event parties and with the aim to both question and break up patriarchal role structures. With the possibilities of skillsharing we want to acquire cis male dominated task areas and create a space for us to try things out. Since last year our focus shifted more towards the sharing of feminist content such as organizing workshops and lectures.
